​Outreach & Missions

The Koerner Heights Church seeks to bless God through blessing others locally, nationally, and globally.
LOCALLY:

• Life Groups are encouraged to be involved in serving others in their sphere of influence
• Sunset Outreach Team is involved in a greeting and helping ministry at Sunset Elementary School.
• Restore Hope Shelter—KHC participates with other church in a regular rotation of assisting this ministry to the homeless.
• Other local ministries we support: Heartland Pregnancy Crisis Center, Harvest of Love, Newton Weekday Bible School, Etc. Shop…

NATIONALLY:

• We participate with Multiply and the Southern District Conference of MB Churches in helping plant new churches in our region.
• Mennonite Disaster Service assists families rebuild following weather disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes.
• We send teams of volunteers on short-term mission ventures

GLOBALLY

• KHC supports 8 missionary families in places like Ecuador, Thailand, France, and Spain.
• We partner with Mennonite Central Committee in providing relief, development, and peace in the name of Christ
• We send individuals and teams on short-term global mission adventures.
