Welcome to KHCYOUTH!
We are the youth ministry of Koerner Heights Church. We are a group of 7-12 students, that meet weekly from 6:30-8:15 at the youth room (1800 W. 4th St) every Wednesday. We have students from several different area schools at KHCYOUTH, so come ready to see old friends, and make plenty of new ones!
On a typical Wednesday night, we have a free meal, ranging from pizza to amazing home cooked dishes! You can often find us playing various games for a while before we start! We move into a time of worship led by our worship team, then divide into Junior high and High School for a short message. We discuss various topics concerning youth in all areas of life with our main theme being grounded in the Gospel Truth of Jesus Christ and His love and sacrifice for us. We then end the night in small groups.
Small groups are age and gender specific groups where we further discuss the message for the week and create a space for students to talk about the different things going on with their lives. KHCYOUTH has an AMAZING team of leaders (all background checked) that are ready to care deeply for your student and welcome them every week! In small groups, we ask questions, talk about the hard moments of life and celebrate the great ones!
Our desire is to come along side of you, the parents, and help you raise a student with a faith that will last a lifetime! On this page, you'll find a few resources, links, calendar events and more to help aid you as you raise your student.
