Matt joined our team as the Lead Pastor in April of 2024. He and his wife Hannah moved here with their three children from St. George, Utah after serving as the Pastor of Adult Ministries at South Mountain Community Church in St. George Utah (2019-2024), and serving as the Youth Pastor at New Hope Fellowship Church in Westminster, Maryland (2015-2019).
Matt enjoys reading, writing, drinking too much coffee, spending time with his family and friends, playing disc golf (at least the Kansas wind gives him something to blame the bad games on), and awakening every heart to a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. He studied Leadership at CLI, Ministry Studies at Rockbridge Seminary, and he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from North Central Theological Seminary. He has also published a few books, including, "Follow: Genuine Discipleship in the Modern Age" and "Enemies of the Heart: What the Forgotten Prophet Teaches us About Bitterness, Betrayal, and God's Justice". |
Youth Pastor - Jacob Boller

Jacob joined us to begin his ministry career in June of 2023. Jacob grew up in Kalona, Iowa, and is a graduate of Hesston College (’21) in Hesston, Kansas, and University of the Cumberlands (’23) in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Jacob is an avid sports fan, particularly for the Iowa Hawkeyes. He enjoys playing soccer, disc golf, and spending time in nature. Jacob is passionate about seeking after the Lord and sharing that passion with youth. His mission is to help walk with students to grow their personal relationships and devotion to Christ. |
Secretary - LaDana Smeeton

LaDana Smeeton is our church secretary. She has attended KHC for 13 years and has joined the ministry team here at KHC.
Her husband is Jonathan Smeeton. They have been married for 16 years. They have four children - Koby, Gage, MaLeah and Landry. As a family they love to travel, play games together and watch almost any sport! |
